It was inspired to creatively address the division along cultural, ethnic and religious bias that characterized the Nigerian geographic space in the last 2 decades. It was written in 2001 after witnessing the political turbulence that seems to engulf Nigerian state trying to come to terms with democracy. No more war was originally titled "And the Gods Laughed",a literary ouevre that attempted to connect the cultural and metaphysical interface with human experience that has realized that there is more wisdom and benefit in living in peace than in engaging in mayhem and wanton destruction.

How they discovered their passion for poetry and word art:

As far back as 1988 during my Theatre Arts undergraduate days in the University of Jos. I used to sing and play with words just for fun but in 1999 I discovered the power of expression that goes with poetry and spoken words.
Then I joined Association of Nigerian Authors in 2000 where I met like minds where we shared poems and short stories at monthly literary readings
