I discovered my passion for spoken word during my secondary school years when I realized that I could express deep truths and emotions through rhythm and performance. It started with writing lines in my notebook during quiet moments, but when I finally spoke them out loud in church and school events, I felt something ignite — like my voice had found its purpose. That’s when I knew spoken word was more than talent — it was a calling.
