Poem Inspiration:
I was inspired by my love for Malumfashi, my hometown, and the beauty of its history, culture, and people. I wanted to use poetry to celebrate its identity, honour its values of kindness and respect, and remind people that every town has a story worth telling. Through this poem, I hope to preserve its heritage and inspire pride in the hearts of its people.
How long have they been writing poems:
I have been writing poems for a few years Over time, poetry has grown from a simple interest into a passion and a way for me to express my thoughts, emotions, and observations about life.
I continue to learn, grow, and discover new ways to use words to inspire others.
How they discovered their passion for poetry and word art:
I discovered my passion for poetry through my love for words and my desire to express feelings and ideas that are sometimes difficult to explain in ordinary conversations. I realised that words could do more than communicate; they could touch hearts, tell stories, preserve culture, and inspire change. With time, I became more passionate about poetry and spoken word, using my voice to share meaningful messages about life, love, identity, and society.
